Felony charges were filed Wednesday against a 29-year-old man accused of pimping a 15-year-old runaway girl in Los Angeles and Orange County.

The victim’s mother called police Oct. 26, saying her daughter ran away and was believed to be working as a prostitute, according to court papers. An undercover investigator with Anaheim police tracked her down, contacted her via text message and met her at a motel.
She told the investigator she met Moton in San Bernardino and he would drive her to Los Angeles and Orange County to work as a prostitute, according to court papers.
The investigator, posing as a prostitute, contacted Moton and offered to work with him, the court papers allege. The investigator set up a meeting at a motel in Stanton, where Moton was arrested.
