A 38-year-old tutor was charged Monday with sexual assaulting four girls in La Palma.
Joseph W. Kim was charged with two counts of lewd acts on a child 14 or 15 years old, both felonies, annoying or molesting an underage child, touching an intimate part of another person and attempted touching of an intimate part of another, all misdemeanors.
Kim, who was arrested Thursday, was being held on $200,000 bail, according to jail records. He listed his occupation as tutor, according to jail records.
Further details were not immediately available. Attempts to contact police were not successful and the Orange County District Attorney’s Office did not immediately respond to a request for information.
