A man was charged Friday with vandalizing a Roman Catholic Church this week.
Irwing Manuel Cruz Ojeda was charged with two counts of vandalism, two counts of vandalism of religious property and a count of burglary, all felonies. He pleaded not guilty at his arraignment Friday and was ordered to return to court March 25 for a pretrial hearing.
Ojeda was accused of breaking into and vandalizing Immaculate Heart of Mary Church at 1100 S. Center St. on Wednesday, according to the criminal complaint.
Santa Ana police did not immediately respond to a request for further details.
